About Us

IMC Chicagoland is a community of professional consultants enriched by the sharing of best practices, network contacts, and business resources. We serve the consulting community throughout the greater Chicago metropolitian area including the city, suburbs, and northwest Indiana.

Our organization is a Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants, which was founded in 1968 to serve as a voice for those in the field and to establish professional and ethical standards for management consultants.

IMC also:

• provides consultants with opportunities to improve their technical and consulting skills through specialized training and career development programs
• promotes public recognition of the Institute's CMC (Certified Management Consultant) designation
• enhances the reputation of management consulting as a profession

IMC serves the public with a free Certified Management Consultant (CMC) referral service, which provides users with lists of consulting professionals that are tailored to their specific requests.

When you join IMC, you automatically become an affiliate of one of the Institute's numerous chapters, like the Chicagoland Chapter. We initiate professional development programs of our own to meet our members' needs and interests, complementing IMC's national workshops and conferences.
