Benchmarking:
"What Gets Measured, Gets Done!"
Next Chapter
Meeting, October 14, 2005
How often does a client ask you something like,
"What value will I
gain from hiring you?"
How often do you ask yourself a similar question
about your own practice? Many consultants use anecdotal responses. Imagine
if you had an objective response you could use for talking to potential clients
and the same tool for your own firm's development. Benchmarking offers you
that opportunity to point to results in concrete terms.
Our special October
downtown program features a special panel presentation with two experts in
benchmarking education and practice, moderated by the managing partner of
one of Chicago's leading small business venture capital firms.
Panelists: Tom Harig, Keystone Consulting Group and Brad Schneider, Blackman
Kallick Moderator: David Bogetz, Burnham Capital Partners, LLC
Tom Harig leads Keystone's process change and operations consulting practice
areas. Over the last twenty-five years, Tom has worked in a broad range of
manufacturing companies with special emphasis on the electronics and process
industries. Tom holds a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from the University
of Notre Dame and an M.S. degree in Industrial Administration from Purdue
University.
Brad Schneider is a Director of the Strategic Services practice at Blackman
Kallick Bartelstein, LLP and co-chairs the firm's Family Business Center.
Brad holds a Masters of Management from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management
at Northwestern University and a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, also from
Northwestern.
David Bogetz created and manages Burnham Capital Partners, LLC, an equity
fund that invests in under performing companies with minimum annual revenue
of $10 million and average expected returns of 3x-5x invested capital.
David has an MBA from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business
with concentrations in Finance, Marketing and Accounting and received his
undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois in finance.
