INK - Getting Publicity + Bonus Workshop
Sept. 8, 2006
Getting Ink
A PR Toolkit for Your Consulting Business Development
Our speaker, Cheryl McPhilimy will walk us through the Public Relations
fundamentals including how to determine what is "newsworthy", how to write
a press release and get it in the hands of the media. Then, how to be ready to reap
the benefits of establishing credibility through the media.
Cheryl guides her audiences
through PR strategy and implementation, based on her experiences on the
front line as a PR agency owner and former reporter.
Ms. McPhilimy is President of McPhilimy Associates, a Chicago based public
relations and marketing firm founded in 1995. She also is a
Communications professor at Loyola University.
Bonus Workshop
A Natural Approach to Productization
One Team will discuss how business consultants can leverage the expertise they already have and the opportunities that are at their disposal to create IT product offerings that they can sell in the marketplace.
Case studies will be presented to demonstrate how consultants can transform their unique business recommendations into IT solutions that they can implement in multiple customer engagements. These solutions can help increase project success and revenue generating potential.
Interactive Approach
Our workshop presenter, One Team, will use an interactive approach to engage workshop attendees to consider such topics as how to identify product opportunities for your business, rapid and cost-effective process automation, ongoing process optimization, and evolving products in response to market opportunities.
