Creating, Strengthening
and Promoting Your Brand
Chapter Meeting
October 13, 2006
As consultants, one of the most important assets we have is our
brand.
- Do we have the right brand name?
- Do clients and
prospects know our brand even exists?
- Do they see our brand
the same way we do?
- Does our brand image fit how we operate
and the image we want to portray?
- How can we further enhance
the visibility of our brand?
Our speaker this month, Julie Clark, is an expert who has worked
with both large and small firms on these very issues.
Julie Clark is the President and founder of The JT Clark Agency, a
full-service, multi-faceted design boutique located on Chicago's
historic North Shore in Lake Bluff, Illinois. For more than twenty
years, they have provided their long list of clients with Marketing
Solutions by Design. Their capabilities include Branding,
Corporate Communications, Direct Mail, Identity, Incentive Programs,
Packaging, Point-Of-Purchase, and Web Development.
The Power of Branding
They believe in the POWER of branding and that
the simplest solution is often the best. They see that in every
product or service there exists an inherent DRAMA, which is the true
LIFEBLOOD OF THE BRAND. They believe that the naming, positioning
and identity design, combined with standards of execution, will
always accurately define the BRAND. They uncover that drama and then
express it - creatively and purposefully - in the marketing and
communications solutions developed just for each client.
Clients have included well known Chicago area names such as Abbott,
Grainger, Caremark, Baxter, Gatorade as well firms outside the
region including Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Corona and others.
Besides this Julie has worked with a number of smaller clients as
well as applied her branding expertise to her own line of high end
pearl jewelry.

This month for our suburban meeting we move to a
new location, Max & Benny's in Northbrook, perhaps the best deli
restaurant in the North suburbs, with a nice setup for our meeting
and an excellent breakfast buffet. For those coming from
downtown, this will be an easier drive coming straight up the Edens.
From the south or north, it is not far from the Tri-State.
Whether you are thinking about changing your brand or
are looking for ways to strengthen the value and visibility of your
brand in the marketplace, Julie has ideas you can use to help
develop your business.
As always, please think of a guest to bring.
