Professional Background

Larry Bauman worked in field sales owning and then selling his own rep firm in 1981. The firm was sold employing 7 people and with an annual sales revenue of over $5MM.

Executive Vice-President of aluminum company, working with companies such as Boeing and Ford Motor Company for specialty extrusions. Managed a sales force of 34 independent rep firms.

Joined Crescent Cardboard LLC, a specialty paper laminator, as Senior Vice-President of Sales in 1988 until 1998 managing all sales for 3 business units with 84 independent and company salespeople, 7 sales managers, and worldwide customer service at 8 locations in the US and Europe.

Opened Phoenix Business Consulting, Inc. in 1998.

He is the author of a monthly management newsletter called The Bauman eBulletin. He has written various articles and two books on sales strategy called Sales Made Easy: 62 Strategies that Work and The Selling Game: Making The Right Moves . His third book, Sales Management Dynamics will be available in 4Q02.

He currently serves on the Chicago IMC Board of Directors.
