Professional Background

With the requisite years of experience, educational qualifications, professional skills, values and motivations, perhaps I am the one you are looking for! Following are a few examples of my work:

  • Initiated process for departmental culture change within large global law firm: from synchronous to collaborative teams resulting in improved efficiency and increased output. Utilized an ‘audience assessment matrix’ to manage communication and ensure success.
  • Re-designed client organizational structure increasing stakeholder participation and financial investments significantly expanding its sphere of influence from local grassroots to gaining national attention for positive large-scale change initiatives regarding low-income and minority communities.
  • Gained trust and integrity, as first director of an in-house leadership development institute in a bank, for myself and for the ‘learning laboratory,’ receiving 100% buy-in from senior vice-presidents and branch managers to personal bankers, data processors and tellers. Nearly all employees who had received promotions over four years successfully completed programs offered through the institute.

Testimonial

"It came very clear to those of us who worked with MaryBeth that she understands very well the cultures and workings of non-profit institutions. She has the ability to work with and to relate the personal objectives of individual staff members to the mission of the institution as a whole. She understands team building in terms of the institution’s big picture, but does so in a way that always keeps the welfare and professional growth of the individual members of the community in clear view. Her strength is in putting together systems that match the gifts and skills of individuals with departmental and institutional objectives. I commend her to you."
